No.
The protesters being this thick made Monocles popular. I would never have bought one if it didn't make those people cry so much and see threads like this. I wouldn't care to make them cry if they weren't so loud about how stupid they are.
Well said.
Perhaps if the monocle owners were to buy enough of these things then there would be no need for other MT's to ruin the game and the players could enjoy their uncorrupted gameworld in peace while the Peac_ocks competed amongst themselves for ownership of this months extra special monocle....
common-as-dirt = 12000 aurum. brass = 20,000 aurum copper = 30,000 aurum brass (polished) 50,000 aurum burnished tin 60,000 aurum silver 100,000 aurum gold 250,000 aurum platinum 500,000 aurum double platinum 700,000 aurum scintilating paladium 1,000,000 aurum zyndrine composite 1,500,000 aurum pure zyndrine 2,000,000 aurum base arkanor 2,500,000 aurum noble arkanor 3,000,000 aurum (only 5 of these allowed in the game when a 6th is bought number 1 disappears) elite arkanor 5,000,000 aurum (only 3 of these allowed in the game when a 4th is bought number 1 disappears) elite elite trans arkanor fusion. 10,000,000 (only 1 allowed in the game, you get the picture)
The benefit of this scheme is that all other content could be "free" (ie supplied to subscribers in the time-honoured fashion as accessible content without all this NeX stuff getting in way.)

If enough players shave the heads of their avatars to make a point, we might even be amused to do that lover. I'm even tempted to launch a new Top Model contest shaved head peons ( ic of course ) x monocled elites. You just gave me a cool idea right there.
I don't really think you can call current monocle wearers "elite" - the item desciption says its a piece of common trash.
I suppose an unemployed paparazzi might have use for a lowtech camcorder built into their skull but most of us simply use internal nanotech seemlessly integrated into bioform genetic modification.

No they should release an uncommon version at 24,000 aurum to differentiate the street-corner chavs from the townies.

In a way there is a certain dark genius at work in charging forum trolls $60 dollars.
If only it was just monocles and the peac_ocks could be the only milk-cows that CCP had its eye on eh?

Wow, Jade are you trolling!?
What a pity them trolls aren't THAT eager to bury CCP in cash to troll out their little internet hearts. I'd really love to see the golds troll the silvers, while being trolled by platinums in term and feeling pushed into buying doubles in turn just for some sweet payback trolling.
You have to admit it would be pretty damned hilarious - it would be trollollageddon on these forums at least!

I suspect it was a dark genius turning something some trivial into such a matter of fun to those who can afford it. For that alone I really praise the genious behind the mask.
PS: bypassing forum regulations on filtering words to make a point is trolling too lover, just a bitter one. But remember that.
Come on the word ********
... is a recognized industry term for mmo players prepared to pay a disproportionate sum to feed their vanity and laud it over other players. Its not really my fault I can't refer to it because of the filter. I could say "pretty male birds whose feathers often get put in people's hats" but its a bit confusing no?

Or to put it a bit more in perspective, you aren't paying virtual money to put a virtual monocle on your virtual character to poke fun at other players in an internet spaceship game.
Either choice is a valid one, as long as which ever choice you make ends up in your having fun.
Fun is fun obviously and it is quite fun taking the mickey out of people spending virtual cash to put virtual monocles on their virtual characters virtual faces also. This much I have to admit
Though I do think you guys should seriosuly consider promoting my tiered monocles suggestion from earlier - trolling lower ranked monocle owners would be pretty good fun also!

I think the fun is more relative to the fact of people thinking that spending a little bit of virtual cash is reason enough to shave their avatar's heads and believe their are protesters against a fantastic conspiracy of ccp illuminatis! This is really pricess I tell you.
Clearly all concerns are imaginary. Nothing is wrong there is no cause for concern. Everything proceeds as normal.
here I'll help you with your propaganda (shame he doesn't have a monocle)

Perhaps thats why you generally spend your time in eve begging for isk handouts from Revan Neferis then hmmm?
